We are seeking motivated and technically capable Electrical Design Engineers and Mechanical Design Engineers to join our Engineering Design team and support the design and delivery of mission-critical Data Center projects.

Candidates may specialize in either Electrical Engineering or Mechanical Engineering. You are not required to have experience in both disciplines.

Job Responsibilities

General Engineering & Design Coordination

• Support engineering design activities for Data Center projects from concept through detailed design

• Prepare, review, and coordinate engineering drawings, calculations, specifications, and technical submissions

• Develop engineering solutions based on project requirements, system reliability, redundancy, energy efficiency, and client specifications

• Coordinate with consultants, contractors, vendors, and multidisciplinary engineering teams

• Support BIM and MEP coordination to ensure integrated and clash-free design solutions

• Participate in design reviews, project meetings, and technical coordination meetings

• Identify design issues, technical risks, and coordination conflicts and support the development of appropriate engineering solutions

• Support value engineering initiatives to improve system performance, efficiency, scalability, and cost-effectiveness

For Electrical Design Engineers – 2 Headcounts

• Prepare and support detailed electrical designs, including single-line diagrams, load studies, short-circuit analysis, and arc flash studies

• Support the design and coordination of mission-critical electrical infrastructure

• Design and review electrical systems incorporating appropriate redundancy and resilience

• Work with electrical systems including:

  • UPS Systems

  • Generators

  • Power Distribution Units (PDU)

  • Static Transfer Switches (STS)

  • Automatic Transfer Switches (ATS)

• Review consultant and subcontractor electrical designs, vendor proposals, and equipment selections

• Ensure electrical designs comply with applicable project specifications and relevant standards, including IEC, IEEE, NEC, NFPA 70E, TIA-942, Uptime Institute, and CDCP requirements

• Provide technical clarification during construction

• Support FAT/SAT, testing, and commissioning activities

For Mechanical Design Engineers – 2 Headcounts

• Execute mechanical design activities for Data Center projects from concept through detailed design

• Develop mechanical design solutions based on cooling loads, system redundancy, energy efficiency, and client specifications

• Perform cooling load calculations, equipment sizing, and system optimization

• Design and coordinate critical cooling infrastructure including:

  • Chilled Water Systems

  • Direct Expansion (DX) Systems

  • CRAH / CRAC Units

  • Ventilation Systems

  • Heat Rejection Systems

  • Mechanical Plant Rooms

• Develop mechanical solutions considering Data Center redundancy requirements, including N+1 and N+2 configurations

• Review mechanical drawings, specifications, technical submissions, and vendor designs

• Ensure mechanical designs comply with relevant standards, including ASHRAE, Uptime Institute requirements, applicable local codes, and client requirements

• Support BIM coordination and validate mechanical designs within federated models

• Support system optimization and value engineering initiatives

Multidisciplinary Coordination

• Coordinate closely with Electrical, Mechanical, Architectural, Civil & Structural (C&S), Fire Protection, ICT, BIM, and other project teams

• Ensure proper integration between MEP systems and other engineering disciplines

• Coordinate technical requirements with internal teams, consultants, contractors, vendors, and project stakeholders

• Support the resolution of design interfaces and clashes

• Maintain effective communication throughout the design and project lifecycle

Compliance & Project Support

• Ensure designs comply with applicable project requirements, engineering standards, and client specifications

• Support company Quality, Health, and Safety requirements

• Prepare and maintain relevant design reports, progress summaries, technical documentation, and compliance records

• Support continuous improvement initiatives and engineering best practices

• Carry out other engineering duties assigned by the respective Lead Engineer or Head of Engineering Design as required

Requirements

• Bachelor's Degree in Electrical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or a related engineering discipline

• Relevant engineering design experience in Data Center, mission-critical, industrial, commercial, or large-scale infrastructure projects

• Candidates should have technical experience relevant to their respective discipline:

  Electrical: Electrical power distribution, UPS, generators, PDU, STS/ATS, electrical calculations, or related mission-critical electrical systems

  Mechanical: Chilled water, DX, CRAH/CRAC, ventilation, heat rejection, cooling load calculations, or related mission-critical mechanical systems

• Knowledge of applicable engineering standards relevant to the respective discipline

• Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings, specifications, and technical documentation

• Familiarity with multidisciplinary MEP and BIM coordination is preferred

• Data Center project experience will be an added advantage

• Good technical, analytical, coordination, and problem-solving skills

• Able to communicate effectively in English

• Able to coordinate effectively across multiple engineering disciplines and project stakeholders

• Able to work in a fast-paced and startup-like environment

Working Hours

Monday to Friday, 8:30 AM – 6:00 PM

Location

Bangkok, Thailand and Project Site (Site-based depending on project assignment)

Employment Type

2-year contract employment with performance evaluation for potential conversion to permanent employee status based on individual performance and business requirements.
