Senior Launch Supervisor

Role and Responsibility

  • Receive, review and communicate customer interest, requirement, technical interests , timeline and necessary information to APQP team
  • Product / Process development timelines are scheduled and followed up
  • Cutting Product / Process Readiness Planning and Follow up
  • Maintain APQP open items and team review
  • Follow up new machine / equipment installation and readiness
  • Coordinate customer events / customer audit during pre-production phase
  • Coordinate team review a Blue Folder for secondary process (perforation, lamination, quilting etc.)
  • Ensure program deliverable are met with preset yield and PPM
  • Establish a Production Readiness Review before SOP with APQP and Mass production team for all process on program process flow)
  • Follow up customer approval such as packaging, tooling and PPAP before SOP
  • Kick off APQP workbook, update and following the APQP key dates, open issues deck, program status sheet and program launch plans for launching new models, assign task plan and key date for engineering changes and transfer programs.
  • Working with launch manager and ensuring complete customer satisfaction by hitting all customer deliverable dates and products quality targets; Ensuring program profitability; and launching new programs within defined financial targets.
  • Keep close communication with internal team, responsible for tracking, coordinating and assuring customer satisfaction. Ensure that customer requirements are clearly understood and communicated throughout the organization
  • Ensure PPAP submission to customer with timely manner 

Qualification

  • University degree with Science /Mechanical / IE Engineer or related background;
  • Requires a minimum of 3 years ' experience related to automotive industry.
  • Be familiar with automotive  industry quality and supplier validation system such as PPAP , APQP.
  • Fluent both written and spoken English.
  • Good communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Planning and Monitoring skill is a must.
  • Ability to run meeting effectively.
  • Able to work with less supervision and strong problem solving.
  • Able to work under pressure and flexible time.
  • Engineering background is advantage.
  • Prefer on leather industry experienced, good eyesight.
