Commercial Project Manager / Cost Controller - Map Ta Phut Office

Area of Responsibilities

Commercial Project Management

Project Cost Control

  • Conduct periodic Cost to complete analysis and ensure correct plan costs are reflected;
  • Ensure Ecosys is adequately updated in all respects (Claim/ Risk etc.)
  • Other Project management tools to be updated as per local/global requirement.

Project Risk Management 

  • Timely Identification of risks and mitigation measures, including reporting in line with Guidelines.

Project Claim Management

  • Timely Identification and reporting of claims;
  • Communication of Claims in alignment with Claim/Project Manager;
  • Ensure correct accounting of inward/ outward claims.

Invoicing & Collection

  • Initiate timely and accurate invoicing, including adherence to taxation requirements;
  • Analysis of excess costs
  • Monitoring project related provisions, wherever required.


  • Knowledge on Direct and Indirect taxes of Thailand

Forex and Insurance 

  • Ensure effectiveness of Bank Guarantees and Letter of Credit and expired BG-s are collected on time;
  • Cooperate closely with CAR to ensure FX exposures are adequately hedged and adherence to local guidelines issued;
  • Ensure all Project Risks are adequately covered by Insurance, including timely renewal.

Accounting and Reporting & Audit

  • Correct reporting of the project. Knowledge in POC accounting.
  • Good working knowledge in SAP (FI/CO Module)


  • Ensure timely Forecasting of project revenue and costs along with adequate supporting;
  • Timely deviation analysis and identification of corrective actions to meet project plan


Qualification, Experience & Attitude

  • Bachelor's degree or higher in Accountant, Cost Accountant, Commercial or related field.
  • Minimum 3-5 years experience in Accountant, Cost Control or Project management field
  • Basic technical knowledge; Good accountants/controllers with adequate (min. 3 years) experience in plant construction business preferred.
  • Young & Energetic.
