 OBJECTIVES:

 This position is accountable for supervising civil, concrete foundation work under the direction by Discipline Chief Civil to complete the work meeting with the schedule, quality and safety requirement.

He shall monitor the subcontractor’s work plan and work performance, and report of it to Civil Discipline Chief daily for decision to remedy.

 MAJOR DUTIES AND RESULTS:

  • Receive the instruction of the job to be in his duty from Civil Discipline Chief 
  • Receive the orientation of the field office function from Admin. Manager. 
  • Receive the safety induction course from Safety Control Manager/ Supervisor.
  • Implementation of CLIENTs SHES programm throughout the project duration, to display a positive leadership and maintain good relationships with all site Management, personnel and other third parties to achieve the below objectives.

o    Zero accidents,

o    Zero personal injuries,

o    Zero property losses or damage,

o    by continuously encouraging safety consciousness and stringently applying the rules of the construction project site

  • Review the latest status of “ FOR CONSTRUCTION DRAWINGS “ and    “SPECIFICATIONS FOR CONSTRUCTION “, and ensure that the same DRAWINGS and SPECIFICATIONS are in use by the subcontractor, and if not, make sure the subcontractor collects the latest issues.    
  • Report of the documents status to the Civil Discipline Chief.
  • Attend meetings with subcontractors being conducted by the Civil Discipline Chief.
  • Monitor subcontractor’s work and direct for correction, and report of it to the Discipline Chief 
  • Schedule and progress, and work sequence
  • Workforce, construction equipment, correct tools, and materials are correctly supplied       

o    Set up of temporary facilities including fabrication shop 

o    Setting- out of coordination for location foundations            

o    Quality of work         

o    Performance of subcontractor’s staffs      

o    Preparation for safety work 

o    Requirement of modification arisen     

o    Insufficient matters with subcontractor’s performance ( reasons behind poor performance ) 

  • Attend inspection for QC and input the results of inspection daily, weekly and monthly into the computerized progress monitoring system provided by Employer.
  • Check the progress report prepared by the subcontractor and input the progress, daily, weekly and monthly into the computerized progress monitoring system provided by Employer.
  • Coordinating interfaces with other discipline supervisors. 
  • Preparation of punch listing and expedite the punching- out. 
  • Reporting the status of work progress and punching-out to Discipline Chief   
  • Prepare a report of the work supervised.
  • Reporting to the Discipline Chief of the matters other than above entrusted by him.
  • Issue NCR ( Non Conformance Report) or any other type of defective report
  • Upon receipt of NCR or similar type of report from client, 3r party or authorities, identify and conduct corrective action supervising discipline supervisor or subcontractors
  • Punching and verification of the system punch
  • Regular status reporting of the above works to discipline manager
  • Material inspection in prior to the commencement of the works, in compliance of the applicable drawings and specification.
  • Permit To Work (PTW) preparation, application and negotiation till successfully obtain the PTW.
  • Review and evaluation of JSA and any work permit prepared by subcontractors

 PROBLEM SOLVING AND DECISION MAKING

  • Check latest status of “ Documents For Construction “ and report it to the Discipline Chief for expediting of issuance to meet CRD.           
  • Coordinate and supervise interfaces with other work, and report of it to Discipline Chief for change of work schedule.  
  • Report subcontractor’s performance to Discipline Chief for remedial action.

  • Local authorities (for work permit, if necessary)

 KNOWLEDGE AND EXPERIENCE

 Bachelor’s degree of civil and building engineering and more than 3 to 5 years of experience as civil and concrete supervisor in the oil and gas construction business.

 Salary

  • 100,000 or negotiable up to experience and work background
