Security Manager (Bangkok)

Role :  Managing the client account in Thailand

To ensure H&A deliver a professional efficient and effective risk management service to the Client in Thailand in accordance with H&A’s contractual obligations.

Key Accountabilities :

  •  Liaise with Client Loss Prevention to ensure H&A deliver the required service.
  •  Oversee H&A’s security deployment at stores in Bangkok and elsewhere in Thailand.
  •  Engage Client Leadership to provide updates on the security situation and seek feedback on the   service.
  •  Review and approve the security team’s standard operating procedures on an annual basis.
  •  Ensure that the security teams are properly qualified, trained, equipped and deployed.
  •  Liaise with all stakeholders to minimise losses due to theft and shoplifting.
  •  Plan and implement security plans for special events in liaison with Client Loss Prevention.
  •  Coordinate with sub-contractors on manpower and logistics.
  •  Lead, direct and guide the security team in on-site problem-solving.
  •  Respond, manage and report on incidents of interests at the stores in Bangkok and Thailand.   Ensure actions taken are properly documented.
  •  Monitor and understand resellers.
  •  Ensure that resellers do not inconvenience, alarm or harass genuine customers or Staff.
  •  Prepare and submit monthly operations reports.
  •  Investigate all problems concerning security guards and provide reports with assessments and   recommendations to solve the problems.
  •  Engage and liaise with external partners such as landlords and local Police.
  •  Support the Country Manager and Client Account Manager in planning and implementing operations for product launches and major events.

Qualification:

  • At least five year experience in a disciplined service; corporate security; retail loss prevention and/or commercial investigations, with at least two years in a management role.
  • A clear understanding security risk management practices and risk mitigation.
  • Knowledge of the law and legal principles.
  • Certification in Basic First Aid.
  • Certification in Occupational Health and Safety.
  • Mature with high ethical standards and an appreciation of customer service.
  • Effective communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Fluent written and spoken Thai and English.
