GTT, Global Travel Trade (Thailand), is a B2B wholesaler specialized in distribution of land products and more to Corporates and Travel agents in APAC. With its fully automated online presence (www.gtt.asia) and its sales and support offices in Singapore, Hong Kong, Thailand & the Philippines. GTT, is at the forefront of the new travel wholesale distribution in Asia.

 

POSITION SUMMARY:

From direct sales via marketing plans, you will create and manage client accounts. Develop sales plans and strategies to meet and exceed revenue goals. Understand the competitive landscape and do what it takes to secure business that meets or exceeds revenue expectations and profit. Capture the client’s vision and effectively convey the specifications to appropriate departments, rapidly responding to inquiries, concerns, and issues, ensuring an exceptional client experience and seeding future sales.

 

RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Actively prospect new sales opportunities, and qualify leads in Business Travel and Corporate Group
  • Form strong relationships with all Corporate Account Contacts
  • Closing sales, and collaborating with hotels to ensure a high quality of customer service.
  • Conduct on-site property tours, host, and entertain new and existing clients to maintain valued partnership.
  • Tracked production and revenue
  • Researched competitors to better understand the market
  • Negotiate guest room rates, meeting room rental, function spaces, and hotel services within booking guidelines in order to provide genuine hospitality and superb guest service.
  • Provide reports, and prospect leads on new business
  • Assist with newsletter, client party and special events.
  • Solicit, negotiate and book new and repeat clients using multiple channels, such as social media, outside calls, and telemarketing.

 

QUALIFICATIONS:

  • 4+ years of sales management experience in travel industry
  • Advanced communication skills with demonstrated ability to work through the development of complex business solutions
  • Problem solving, strong negotiation skills with customer service mind-set.
  • Must be flexible and responsive to changing priorities while working under pressure to meet immediate deadlines
  • Willingness to travel occasionally (domestically and/or internationally) for trade shows, product contracting, planning and destination familiarization
  • College training in travel and tourism is preferred.
  • Male/Female, age 26 years old and up
  • Any nationality
