Purchasing Assistant

Salary Range: 18,000 - 20,000 Baht

General Description:

A Purchasing Assistant helps the Purchasing Supervisor works with vendors placing orders for the products and raw materials that school needs. This position primarily conducts administrative and support activities to keep the purchasing department running efficiently, doing tasks such as scheduling material purchases and deliveries. Purchasing Assistant also maintains inventory and purchase records including conducts vendor research and selection to enhance profitability or efficiency.

This role requires excellent attention to detail as well as the ability to maintain and update paper alongside
computerized purchasing records.

Qualifications & skills:

  • Bachelor’s degree
  • Proficiency in written and spoken Thai & English with good communication skills
  • Computer literacy
  • Good skills in managing processes and analyzing Information
  • Effective organisational and time management skills.
  • Problem solving skills, fast thinking and decisive nature.
  • Eagerness in learning and well organized
  • Excellent interpersonal skills and work well as a team
  • Possession a strong character of being friendly, cheerful, enthusiastic, and service minded
  • Ability to work independently and proactively in a fast pace environment
  • Ability to work under pressure
  • Familiarity with multicultural working environment
  • Being helpful and having friendly attitude, integrity, strong work ethic
  • Being reliable and trustworthy
  • Having passed or exempted from military service (male)
  • Obtaining at least 600 of TOEIC score

Responsibilities:

  • Follows up on orders to ensure that materials are delivered on promised dates
  • Maintains Purchase Records
  • Inspects products received for quality and quantity to ensure adherence to specifications
  • Helps Purchasing Supervisor in department management
  • Buys supplies and materials from vendors
  • Monitors stock levels and identify purchasing needs
  • Responds to inquiries of staff and administration regarding purchasing procedures
  • Performs any other tasks as assigned by supervisors (Direct and Hierarchical)
