Financial Controller
Responsibilities:
  • Overseeing all finance and accounting functions: month end / year end closing, financial management reports, cash flow, costing, inventory control, budgeting and rolling forecasts.
  • Overseeing all BOI & import processes and FTA form submissions.
  • Supervising and controlling all finance and accounting functions: (sales, AR, AP, GL, fixed assets, Tax) to ensure compliance with company policies & procedures and BOI requirements.
  • Preparing local reports - PND50, PND 51, BOI reports and other relevant reports.
  • Liaising with external parties such as the Revenue dept., BOI office, external auditor, banks, insurers, etc.
  • Developing internal controls and accounting procedures for best practices.
  • Managing, with the concerned factory functions, the economic figures (cost of the product, inventory, investment, assets) applying internal procedures that guarantee the correctness.
  • Assisting the factory functions in the economic evaluation necessary to run the operations.
  • Providing the figures to evaluate inventory for the general ledger.
  • Cooperating with the external auditors in the process of audits.
Qualifications:
  • Bachelor's Degree in Accounting or Finance.
  • At least 10 years of successful finance and accounting experience working in a manufacturing environment.
  • Must hold a professional accounting qualification.
  • Experience from a new plant set-up is a great advantage.
  • Strong knowledge in financial reports and analytic skills.
  • Familiar with working in an international environment in the past.
  • Strong leadership and communication skills.
  • Excellent command of English.
