Assistant Warehouse Manager

As an Assistant Warehouse Manager, this position is responsible for any fulfillment operations. You will be required to manage day-to-day operations (Inbound, Inventory, Outbound and Return process) with more productivity and cost efficiency. Participate in day-to-day operations in a fun yet always ready manner.

Responsibilities:

  • Manage and monitor day to day of fulfillment (Inbound, Inventory, Outbound and Return process), strictly on safety policy and company regulation to ensure the operations flow is smoothly and efficiency without a bottle neck.
  • Lead, motivate team through effective & open communication in order to maximize customer satisfaction and team productivity.
  • Effectively plan and scheduling the operations resources in order to meet and exceed internal and external services levels at all times with productive and cost efficiency.
  • Efficiency manage and expedite the Zendesk ticket closing/fixing in time in order to exceed the SLA.
  • Measure performance, provide a feedback and lead the team as well as taking proactive steps to ensure the best practices are shared across all department.
  • Drives creation of quality initiatives, process change and other Lean initiatives to enable their functional area exceed the business plan. 
  • Create a positive and collaborative team environment by setting and regularly reviewing the achievement of team goals.
  • Ensure compliance to Safety & Security, DG and Company policies and procedures.
  • Document and track any failures/error including reporting on failure rates, causes, and preventable incidents.
  • Assist in training and coaching new and existing team members.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s Degree or Master's Degree in Logistics, Supply Chain or any related fields
  • 3+ years’ direct experience in Supervisor role in warehouse operations
  • Strong knowledge in warehouse and operations management
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment where continuous innovation is desired
  • Committed to learning and expanding professional and technical knowledge
  • Effective communication with customers and colleagues over the phone and in written transactions
  • Good people management skills
  • Assertive, result-oriented, service-minded and honest
  • Can do attitude
