SEA PF Sales Manager

Location: Nonthaburi

Job Purpose:

  • Aggressively develop the Southeast Asia Donaldson process filtration business with focus on LifeTec liquid filtration in the food and beverage industry, specifically in the beer, mineral water and dairy sectors.
  • Lead and manage a sales team based in Thailand, Malaysia, Singapore and Indonesia.
  • Achieve Sales Revenue and Profit Targets as set by the Strategy Plan for Process Products with focus on LifeTec liquid filters for the assigned Sales Territory.
  • Determine and develop Sales Channel Mix in order to reach annual Targets and Objectives.
  • Market Observation and Communication of commercial and technical trends/developments.
  • Key Accountabilities:
  • Full responsibility in achieving sales and profit targets for the assigned sales territory.
  • Technically guide and develop the Sales Team in the assigned region.
  • Develop regional key accounts as defined in the area of responsibility and participate in global key account activities as per defined markets and customer targets.
  • Determine the appropriate sales channel mix (routes to market) required to achieve assigned financial targets.
  • Identify and develop distribution for designated products and markets, as appropriate.
  • Closely communicate with application engineering, seek regular support and provide regular feedback.
  • Ensure proper documentation of success stories by markets and application, in cooperation with application engineering.
  • Provide adequate activity planning and reporting.
  • Participate in annual and strategic planning on sales and markets development.
  • Observe trends on applications and new technologies in our target markets.
  • Derive product and development recommendations in close communication with our R&D facilities. 

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree or above in food science or in chemical engineering or equivalent.
  • At least 5 years of food and beverage consumable sales experience, solid customer basis and relationship, able to quick develop consumable business in F&B markets;
  • Working experience in global company & matrix organization and/or in filtration is a plus.
  • Value selling and total solution sales experience to customers.
  • Familiar with food & beverage customer production processes and application.
  • Understanding of F&B production background, excellent communication skills, strong technical comprehension and sales drive.
  • Good negotiation, influencing and follow up skills.
  • Computer literacy and proficiency in word processing, spreadsheet, and presentation software.
  • Experience in the effective use of CRM software
  • Able to communicate fluent in written and spoken Thai and English.
  • Regular local and Southeast Asia travel is required.
  • Preferably owns a car.
