Tour Desk Consultant (Krabi x2)


To sell day trips in and around Krabi to tourists mainly from English speaking countries.

As a member of Discova you will be a part of a passionate team of sales reps who are committed to consistently delivering results, providing an excellent customer experience, and being the face of Discova. As a Sales Representative you are responsible for meeting and exceeding individual and team sales targets, consistently delivering a high-quality customer sales experience and thriving in the high performing team environment.

This is a sales role for which you will be reward by a salary base plus commission. There is no limit to how much commission you can earn. The more you sell, the more you earn.


  • Represent Discova and welcome guests on arrival at their hotel and at Discova Tour Desks around Bangkok to reconfirm their arrangements and sell tours, experiences, and activities to enrich their stay in Bangkok.
  • Establish and maintain relationships with local hoteliers, excursion agents and travel companies.
  • Service all customer enquiries professionally and efficiently at time of enquiry or according to business needs with an expectation of conversion rate as per business expectations
  • Offer every customers tours and other activities branded Discova.
  • Meet and exceed individual and team sales targets 
  • Resolve customer service issues to customer’s satisfaction with appropriate corrective and preventive measures.
  • Ensuring welcome packs, company branding, and other collateral is in line with one best way and presentable to our customers.
  • Maintain the expertise in the domestic market by being up to date with domestic information or changes.
  • Assist in training and support of new hotel representatives.
  • Financial reports to be sent daily to the Hotel Rep Team Leader.
  • Report back to Operations and Product if any health and safety issues or standard breaches.
  • Daily and weekly tracking of individual sales targets.
  • Ask as well as participate in any trainings or upskilling recommended by your leader or you feel relevant to your role.
  • Ensure you maintain up to date with product knowledge and understand Discova offerings.


  • Bachelor degree or a degree in tourism and hospitality is preferred.
  • Minimum 1 year experience in a sales team in the tourism industry.
  • Fluent in both written and spoken English is required and other European languages would be an advantage


  • Outstanding sales skills with strong customer care focus.
  • High level of English language communication
  • Results Orientated and driven by earning commission
  • Excellent organizational skills with the ability to be flexible and implementing change when needed.
  • Excellent communicator to a diverse range of people (customers, suppliers, team members, leaders).
  • High attention to details.
  • Able to work under pressure and juggle multiple tasks and able to work outside office hours when required.
  • Solution focused and great at problem solving.
  • Able to work independently and within a team assisting team members to help everyone achieve results.
  • Flexible rotating roster that may include late nights, weekends and early mornings and flexible with uncertainties/changing priorities and under pressure.
  • Willing to travel on business when required
  • Be personally aligned with Discova’s company purpose and values
  • Proficient with Microsoft Office applications and Discova’s systems would be an advantage.
