Operations Manager, E-commerce and Home delivery - (IKEA Bangna)

How is the job?

  • Reporting to the Logistics Manager, this managerial role is responsible for the optimization and development of the outbound operations in the store to maximize the store's logistical performance. You ensure the preconditions for effective and efficient outflow processes, (picking, packing and home delivery operations)
  • You are responsible for daily operations in areas connected to fulfillment operations, thereby securing an excellent customer experience through quality of products, stock accuracy and delivery precision
  • You are responsible to ensure an effective communication flow to relevant stakeholders in all outbound process related topics
  • To optimize utilization of existing store logistics capacities (space, equipment and people) and planning of resources


Who are you?

  •  At least 3 – 5 years of fast paced logistics environment experience and leading large teams in complex logistics operations
  •  You are knowledgeable of logistics performance monitoring and how they should be used to plan, follow up and steer the business
  • Strong experience in retail business with a desire to ensure operational excellence
  • Have excellent leadership capabilities in developing the team as a coach and setting clear expectations & direction with following up
  • Confident in communication, managing/leading others, delegating responsibility and work through others to deliver business long-terms goals
  •  You are results focused with excellent problem solving and analytical skills, with a keen eye for details
  • Flexible to work on Saturday or Sunday or public holidays, (by work roster- 5 working days, 2 day-off)
