Assistant Revenue Manager


General Duties

Reporting to the Regional Director of Revenue Management, you will be part of the revenue management team implementing strategies to grow the business and drive total revenue to the hotels in the region.


Main Duties


You have three key areas of responsibility;

  • Manage systems and support in implementing strategies to drive revenue.
  • Maintain and update all digital distribution and channels in line with the current selling strategies.
  • Ensure service delivery in every aspect of revenue management process.


Duties & Responsibilities


  • Manage room inventory to maximize hotel’s rooms revenue as well as maintain accurate system information.
  • Provide diagnostics and monitoring inventory to ensure straight-line availability.
  • Manage room authorizations, rates, and restrictions, including communicating to the properties.
  • Assist hotel teams with troubleshooting and resolution of any rate loading issue as they occur.
  • Escalate technical questions relating to the reservations, property management systems and integration to the correct support desk in a timely manner.
  • Ensure all related systems are configured correctly, validated and working to full capacity.
  • Assist in distribution and B2B pricing strategy of the hotels and manage day to day yield operations as directed by Regional Director of Revenue Management.
  • Monitor the compliance and participation in promotions and digital distribution channels.
  • Optimize and expand digital distribution partnerships with revenue potential to the hotels. (including channel connect, integration, mapping)
  • Evaluate performance of digital distribution partners (OTA, B2B, etc.) and maintain rate integrity and parity.
  • Ensure all digital distribution channels content is updated regularly.
  • Maintain and update all digital distribution channels with the current selling strategies as set out by the Regional Director of Revenue Management and General Managers of each hotel.
  • Ensure that all the revenue management statistics reports are accurate and consistent.
  • Preparation of agendas and other supporting documents for the revenue strategy meetings with hotels and other regional revenue management reports ( daily, weekly and monthly)
  • Engage and participate in projects to drive total revenue to the hotels in the region.
  • Ensure standard operating procedures and process are being communicated with property teams.
  • Liaise in an effective manner any other task that may arise in the revenue management department. 
  • Flexible scheduling as required to meet the needs of revenue management support to the hotels.
