Cost Engineer /Quantity Surveyor (Office)/วิศวกรถอดแบบและประเมินราคา
We are currently seeking to employ a Cost Engineer /Quantity Surveyor. The role will require the candidate to be responsible for the construction projects from conception to completion. You will be required to provide structural, architectural, cost knowledge and cost management services in this role.   Job Descriptions:
  • Assisting the management and senior level in all aspects of reviews and reports on all submitted tenders, quotations including recommendations on suitable cost saving alternatives as required Estimate quantity and costs of materials
  • Set up Material, mechanical equipment & rate library
  • Being able to effectively provide accurate cost planning based on design and budgetary criteria. 
  • Knowledge  in plans or constructions and update budgets. Providing detailed analysis of budgets and expenditures, progress, and reports on project in a necessary period.
  • Supervise payments for claim owner and subcontractors.
  • Develop and maintain working relationships with contractors and subcontractors. Act as a liaison between clients and site managers/engineers.
  • Identify potential financial or cost risks.
  • Perform risk analysis and provide advice to the Client and the management.
  • Advise clients and the management on improvements, strategies, and/or estimated costs.
  • Analyze completed projects to determine ROI and compare costs
  • Knowledge of state of the construction techniques, project management and contract administration. Familiarity with various project delivery models (Construction, design/build, BT, EPC) is a plus.
  • Other duties as assigned
Qualifications and Requirements:
  • Bachelor’s degree in quantity surveying, civil engineering, construction management, or equivalent field
  • Minimum 5 years of general construction estimating experience, experience as QS / contract engineer / Cost Construction Management., or related field
  • Direct experience in the field of road, bridge, buildings or railway, preferably in marine works.
  • Proficient in computer skills especially Microsoft Excel. Familiarity with Auto CAD
  • Strong communication skills in English: listening, speaking, reading and writing
  • In-depth understanding of construction, materials, pricing, and industry
  • Able to analyze problems and strategize for better solutions.
