MAIN DUTIES & ACTIVITIES:

PRACTICAL TRAINING:

In the kitchen, the instructor’s main activities are to convey relevant kitchen skills to the students for employment in hospitality industry, including restaurant business.

OPERATION:

As kitchen instructor, and a professional chef, the responsibilities are to deliver the skills to students and insured the quality of food prepared for customers are at highest level of customer satisfaction. As well as collaborate with the restaurant manager for the cost controlling. The instructor will maintain the kitchen and the equipment in perfect cleaning and maintenance condition. The instructor will also, in collaboration with the team, conceptualizing and realizing of products and services to be offered to guests of the vocational hotel-restaurant.

ADMINISTRATIVE:

The instructor will responsible for developing teaching plan. Also, to organize, deliver, and evaluate practical training of the students.Any relevant plans to foster the kitchen training and education will be discuss with the director. Elaboration of teaching plans, students’ evaluation and attendance should be reported in weekly, monthly and semester reports.

Mae Sot is at the border of Myanmar and close-by to the area are mountains, National Park, Waterfalls and many outdoor activities. The area has lots of expatriates, as some refugee camps are located in the province.

Experience needs:

The instructor has both experiences in Western and Thai cuisine but If only Thai or Western it's also ok.
