Head of Supply Chain at Lamphun
Our client is a manufacturer of high-quality glass disk for memory disk and the global leader in developing preloaded intraocular Lenses (IOLs) also produce the contact lenses, has subsidiaries/branches over 35 countries around the world.

Job Description:
  • Developing and executing an evolved strategy for the company's to ensure the continuous performance and growth of Vision Care Contact Lens SC.
  • Creating prioritizes and actions Supply Chain initiatives and projects with the involvement of key stakeholders.
  • Driving the improvement of operational excellence and organizational efficiency through developing and implementing KPI based management and driving organizational efficiency and change.
  • Identifying the scope and driving operational efficiency projects to improve performance versus internal and external customers, optimizing the supply chain model and reduce cost.
  • Improving customer service, customer experience as well as internal and external communication.
  • Improving DIO through optimized global inventory holdings across all categories.
  • Building central planning function and leading adapted S&OP Process to evaluate mid- and long term unconstraint demand for appropriate capacity planning with Global Operations.
  • Improving the service level to our customers.
  • Managing all purchasing and procurement activities for the said Business Unit.
  • Fixing & improving the broken processes.
  • Aligning SC System needs (AX implementation) & automate manual activities.
  • Defining and managing systems to support the production planning process with accurate, timely information.
  • Supporting and assuring proper role out of new product launches from a supply chain perspective.
  • The position requires leadership skills from an experienced global Supply Chain leader, with extensive experience in building & developing SC organizations and related core processes.
  • Strong influencing skills on different organizational levels.
  • Proven experience in successful project management using productivity systems.
  • Successful track record of strategic planning and execution for international supply chain organizations.
  • Strong problem solving, negotiation, relationship building and communication skills.
  • Prior P&L responsibility of advantage.
  • Commitment to the professional development of staff, increasing organizational efficiency successful track record of recruiting and retaining a diverse team
  • This is expected to be acquired through a combination of the completion of a Masters Degree preferably in Supply Chain or Business Administration, and 5-10 years of experience in an SC leadership role.
