College Receptionist (Pre-Prep School)

                                                    Starting Date - August 2020

Key responsibilities

Responsible for handling front office reception and administration duties, including greeting parents/guests, answering phone calls, handling school inquiries, and sorting and distributing mail.

  • Serving as a first contact for parents and others who call or personally visit the College
  • Route calls to most appropriate people for all incoming calls and voicemail  
  • Professionally greet parents/visitors and ensure they feel very welcome and comfortable
  • Ensure reception area remains neat and tidy at all times
  • Manage the incoming / outgoing mail
  • Coordinate College activities as required by Management
  • Be familiar with the College calendar and College policies
  • Manage all requests and feedback from parents and ensure the information is given to the most appropriate person who can quickly follow up. Coordinate with parents when necessary
  • Translation of documents from English to Thai or vice-versa.
  • Ensure visitor policies are followed to the letter in order to  maintain the safety of our campus
  • Ability to treat staff, pupils and visitors with kindness but at the same time be able to stop them from doing activities that disrupt the efficient working of the College.
  • Be Customer Service oriented
  • Good Communication skills to communicate with staff, pupils, parents and visitors
  • Ability to work in a team
  • Perform other administrative tasks as required

Formal Qualifications/Experience

  • Bachelor degree in English or relevant discipline
  • Minimum of 2-3 years working experience in a customer-facing environment
  • Fluent command of the English language
  •  Strongly service minded and good organisation skills
  • Good computer skills

Working hours 

  • Monday to Friday 7.15 am to 16.15
  • Additional hours during school events and activities as required
