Senior Litigation Manager

The purpose of this role is to drive collections strategy and drive litigation team for recovery of overdue payments to maximize profitability and ensure delinquency levels are minimized as per established guidelines while complying with legal and collections processes and adhere to guidelines set by internal and external regulators

As this role involves management it would be helpful if the successful candidate has previously managed large teams and has knowledge of compliance.

 

Responsibilities:

  • Manage the functions of litigation and enforcement, admin lawyer, admin enforcement, OA management, collection, OA contract, payment processing and other operations functions.
  • Monitor performance to proactively identify efficiency issues and propose solutions.
  • Ensure the delivery of collection and litigation on behalf of the business to targeted performance levels. Collection (Litigation) includes:

 

  • OA management:
    • Manage and Control all outsource agencies to handle all bad debts accounts (day pass due >91-Write off) to be processed and achieve business target.
    • Revise outsource agencies contractto be appropriate and effective
    • Responsibilities may include interviewing, visiting, selection and purpose to top management for hiring new outsource agencies to ensure they are maintained in accordance with company policy and regulations.

 

  • Collection team:   
    • Manage oversee the day to day collection performance to ensure achieve monthly business target
    • Develop, improve and increase the effectiveness of operation process.
    • Makes sure employees comply Debt collection act and policies and regulators requirements.

 

  • Lawyer and Enforcement:  
    • Develop, improve and increase the effectiveness of operation process.
    • Addressing and monitoring the issue case meet the target and controlling operating costs.
    • Manage and revise documenting and keeping all the legal documents securely.

 

Others general management tasks

  • To operate the department efficiency and effectively by continuously review all the operational procedure / manual to be update and compliance with all company policies and regulators requirements.
  • Training and planning activities for new hires as well as existing subordinate
  • Seeking opportunity develop process or revise criteria to support and achieve business plan
  • Conduct and Monitor the staff Capacity plan, budget and strengthen the performance and productivities.
  • Establish the necessary Operation Dashboard for monitoring and reporting to higher management.
  • Work with related parties, such as MK, IT team to perform process improvement which aims to create the higher efficiency and improve productivities

 

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree with 10+ years of relevant experience in Collection & Litigation
  • Requires excellent interpersonal skills and the ability to adjust and interact with all levels of personnel.
  • Must be multitask oriented, organized, leadership ability and set priorities and meet deadlines and take pride in one’s work.
  • Strong communication in both English and Thai
