Financial & Planning Analysis Manager

Location : Bangsue, Bangkok

Our client is leading Total Quality Assurance provider to industries worldwide.

They now require a Financial & Planning Analysis Manager.

POSITION SUMMARY

The Financial & Planning Analysis Manager will be an integral part of the finance team and report to the Country Finance Manager, with functional reporting to Sr. Manager FP&A (based out of Singapore). The person will assist with the preparation of financial and business reporting and analysis, daily/ weekly forecasting, and provide ad hoc analysis for the organization.

Roles & Responsibilities:

  • Formulate 3-5 years strategic plan together with the business line leaders
  • Consolidate and send weekly forecast for all business lines
  • Consolidate and send Daily Trackers for all business lines
  • Prepare the weekly/ monthly reporting deck for regional/ Group review
  • Lead the annual budgeting, and 3+9 and 6+6 forecasting exercises.
  • Work with business operations, and other key stakeholders to generate requested reporting output
  • Help drive key insights and analytics
  • Execute value-added analysis and provide decision support for special projects and initiatives
  • Execute continuous process improvement
  • Assist in developing finance and business presentations; related supporting materials
  • Ensure plans are made and processes are created to evaluate the impact of the changes made, including taking responsibility for overseeing and reporting on this evaluation.

Knowledge, Skills and Abilities:

  • Solid understanding of accounting and finance principles
  • Superior analytical skills
  • Strong written and oral communication English skills (is must)
  • Strong business partnering and interpersonal skills
  • Organized, flexible and easily adaptable to changing conditions
  • Ability to work well in high pressure situations to meet deadlines
  • High degree of proficiency with Excel, MS Access and PowerPoint (is must)
  • Strong project management skills
  • Ability to multi-task and manage numerous simultaneous priorities
  • High energy, high ownership of work product and dedication and commitment to driving results

Minimum Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree required, with a concentration in one of the following disciplines: Finance, Accounting, or strategic management
  • 6+ years of relevant experience in a corporate/ strategic planning or finance role
  • Demonstrated success in financial modelling and analysis
  • Experience with business and financial planning functions, including annual budget, long-term strategic planning, complex analysis and reporting, acquisitions (preferred) and resource allocation processes
  • Ability to motivate others and lead change
  • Good understanding of IT systems (SUN, Cognos experience preferred)
