Manager – Human Resources (Construction)

HR Manager must provide HR Generalist support the construction project in achieving the HR objectives: Recruiting, Payroll, Performance Management, General HR Administration and Collaborating for all related parties in the construction project. The incumbent will be responsible for ensuring that key objectives relating to human resources are achieved.

Job Duties/Responsibilities:

  • Collaborate with Project Managers, Contractors, and others to identify and document the project’s roles and responsibilities, as well as detail the end-to-end processes required on a project (or series of projects) to determine labor needs.
  • Responsible for all aspects of recruitment: sourcing, job posting, screening, and interviewing process, making job offer, prepare employment contracts to support the requests by line managers.
  • Ensure that employees are properly trained and licensed to perform the required tasks, use the necessary equipment, and meet any unique requirements of the construction projects.
  • Communicate and implement company policies regarding employee issues, as needed.
  • Give consultation, advice and support to business unit and related party regarding recruiting process and other HR issues.
  • Design and develop orientation and induction program including construction site’s rules & regulation.
  • Maintain and update the HR database and facilitate the staff.
  • Monitor the probationary period and all the compensation & benefits and welfare.
  • Manage employee monthly payroll and time attendance.
  • Handle case investigation from grievance/incident report and assist in employee relations activities.
  • Monitor employee's discipline and handle all employee's related issued.
  • Manage all the exit procedures for staff.
  • Provide close supervision and guidance to staff in work performance and discipline.
  • Other HR tasks advised by Senior Manager-Finance and HRBP-Construction.

Qualifications :

  • Thai nationality
  • Bachelor's degree or higher in Human Resources or related field
  • Minimum 10 years of experience in HR functions especially in full function of HR operations
  • Strong supervisory skill with minimum 5 years of experience in the HR management level
  • Minimum of 2 years in the construction industry preferred
  • Excellent command of English communication in both verbal and writing
  • Detail-oriented, problem solving with good task prioritization
  • Proactive, patient, service-minded with a positive attitude
  • Competent in computer operation (MS office, Payroll program)
  • Good communication, coordination and interpersonal skills
  • Able to work in construction-based project.
