About the role

We are looking for a hands-on Senior Technology Infrastructure Engineer to take ownership of IT infrastructure operations in Thailand. You will be the sole IT specialist on the ground, working closely with the warehouse/operations teams, and regional IT teams.

This is a highly practical role with an approximate 70% hardware/network, and 30% software-focused initially (Must knows about network/ hardware network), then potentially shifting toward WMS application support once the new Warehouse Management System is implemented in Thailand.
 
*This role will fit positive, flexible person, as the clients can be demanding and there can be limitations on the site that you will have to navigate with the team.

Key responsibilities

• Own day-to-day IT infrastructure, network, hardware, internet connectivity, and on-site IT support.

• Troubleshoot and resolve operational issues involving network equipment, servers, PCs, RF scanners, printers, labels, and connectivity.

• Support the implementation and ongoing operation of the WMS, including troubleshooting and end-user support.

• Review and approve IT equipment purchases before requests are submitted by the Operations team.

• Assess infrastructure requirements at customer/warehouse sites and coordinate solutions with vendors and internal teams.

• Work closely with warehouse operations to resolve time-sensitive IT issues and minimize business disruption.

• Coordinate with external IT vendors and regional/global IT teams when escalation is required.

• Monitor infrastructure performance and recommend improvements.

• Communicate technical issues and solutions to end users in clear, simple, step-by-step language.

About you

• 5+ years of hands-on IT Infrastructure experience, particularly in networking, hardware, and troubleshooting.

• Strong knowledge of network infrastructure - (network, server, hardware troubleshooting).

• Comfortable working hands-on with hardware, connectivity, and on-site infrastructure.

• Experience supporting warehouses, logistics, manufacturing, or WMS environments.

• Basic understanding of warehouse/ logistics processes (receiving, picking, dispatch)

• Able to work independently as the only IT person in Thailand and take ownership of local IT issues.

• Experience coordinating with warehouse teams, vendors, and other stakeholders.

• Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to respond quickly to operational issues.

• Thai and English fluency, both written and spoken

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, IT, Software Engineering, or a related field.

• Basic SQL/data analysis (nice to have).
