Senior Admissions Officer

Job Summary

 

The Senior Admissions Officer is an integral role to the growth of enrollment at VERSO International School. You will participate in a range of admissions activities including, but not limited to, enrollment of prospective students, leading a team of admissions officers to reach the set targets, organize and participate in internal and external school recruitment events and work closely with the Marketing and Communications team.

 

Key Responsibilities

  • Reach the enrollment target set by management.
  • Implement the admissions strategy designed by the Admissions Director to reach the set target.
  • Work closely with the Marketing and Communications team to help with the production and design of admissions collaterals.
  • Implement the admissions policies and procedures designed by the Admissions Director and the Learning Design Team.
  • To lead, motivate and develop a team of admissions officers, providing a clear sense of purpose and understanding in the team. Managing workflow and resource allocation within the team to ensure that decisions are confirmed within agreed turnaround times.
  • Manage the team of Admissions Officers to ensure that:

            o   The targets set by management are reached 

             o   The key values and messaging are clearly communicated to the public

             o   The highest level of customer-service is delivered and maintained

  • Maintain, clean and update the customer database on the admissions software package (Open Apply).
  • Help the Admissions Director to plan, organize and execute open houses.
  • Attend and promote VERSO at community events as and when required.
  • To undertake any other duties, or training and development, as appropriate to the grade of this post as required by the Admissions Director.
  • Working closely with the Admissions Director to highlight any issues that may impact on the allocation of resource within the team and flag periods of activity.

Qualifications and Skills

  • Bachelor degree in Marketing, Communications, PR Business or equivalent.
  • Minimum 3 years of experience working in an educational institution, services related role, or in a similar or related field, or proven track record of relevant work experience demonstrating practical and theoretical knowledge of student admissions. 
  • Fluent in Thai and English. Knowledge of Mandarin is a plus.
  • Must have the ability to interact and converse well with expatriate parents, teachers and students.
  • Able to handle highly sensitive and confidential information. 
  • Must be a self-starter, pro-active and have excellent organization skills.
  • Must be computer literate and experienced in database management systems.
  • Strong motivational and communications skills.
  • Being proficient in another language (preferably Korean, Japanese or Chinese) is a bonus.
  • Design and edit multi-media informational and promotional materials.
