The incumbent is responsible to work together with Area Sales Manager in Trade Program development, monitor and measure program deployment, and ensure highest merchandising standard implementation across all trade channels. The position is also need to understand smoker's journey, local customs and identify engagement opportunity with targeted smokers.
Education and Qualifications
- Bachelor Degree, preferably major in Business Management.
- Minimum 3 years, with 2 years in managerial and supervisory position. Familiarity with local market trade structure and consumer behavior.
- Highly mobile and able to work independently to achieve assigned business objectives.
- Proficient English language communication and good MS Office applications
Main area of responsibility
- ACHIEVE KEY BUSINESS OBJECTIVES:
Work in parallel with Area Sales team to meet agreed business objectives, covering but not limited to Monthly Sales Volume, Market Share, design the business plan for the assigned region to meet Consumer Engagement (121) KPI and Merchandiser's KPI
- BUDGET & RESOURCE MANAGEMENT:
Monitor, allocate and manage the assigned budget and resources across the trade channels to ensure optimal return on investment and provide an in-depth study and analysis on the program effectiveness and execution.
- TRADE SEGMENTATION & PRIORITIZATION:
Devine a clear Trade Segmentation across all defined channels, and gain a deep understanding on the trade structure in the market that allow JTI to provide an optimal allocation of resources/investments to support Territory Management strategies.
- SMOKER ENGAGEMENT:
Lead the territory Field Marketing team to understand different smoker's segments in different Touch-Point (on-premise and off-premise), local customs, events and provide suggestions for engagement opportunity to reach targeted smokers, and work with Activation team to develop calendar deployment and measure its result for future enhancement.
- TERRITORY ASSESSMENT:
Collaborate across Sales and Marketing team to leverage internal Sales Data, Nielsen retail audit, Consumer and Shopper Insights to assess territory opportunities, challenges and addressing territory potential across existing and new channels.
- TERRITORY PLANNING:
Together with Sales Operation and HQ teams, develop quarterly and annual territory's Brand Plan to meet given business objectives.
- PROGRAM DEVELOPMENT:
Together with Sales Operation and HQ teams, develop ideal trade program and engagement opportunity with targeted trade partners, monitor program implementation, measure its effectiveness and recommend future program enhancement.
- REGULATORY & INTERNAL COMPLIANCE:
Ensure all Trade Engagement and Consumer Engagement activities are executed in line with JTI Marketing Codes and adhere with local legislations governing the Tobacco Controls.
