About the role
Oversee the overall financial and accounting operations of the hotel. Monitor the hotel's financial performance, revenue, expenses, and cash flow. Ensure effective financial controls and compliance with company policies and procedures.
Key responsibilities
Monitor the hotel's financial performance, revenue, expenses, and cash flow
Ensure accurate and timely preparation of monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reports
Review general ledger, journal entries, accounts payable, accounts receivable, and other accounting records
Monitor month-end and year-end closing processes
Coordinate the preparation of the annual hotel budget and monitor actual performance against budget
Monitor hotel revenue streams, including Rooms, Food & Beverage, and other operating departments
Monitor food, beverage, payroll, and operating costs
Monitor cash handling procedures, bank transactions, and daily cash reconciliation
Supervise, coach, and develop Finance & Accounting team members
Provide management with accurate and timely financial information for decision-making
