Senior Business Development Manager

The Senior Business Development Manager is to acquire new business thru the application of effective sales techniques. He or she is expected to develop and sustain awareness regarding the company’s products and services, as well as negotiate and close business contracts. A full company on-boarding/training process would be provided for the candidate

 

Job Responsibilities:

 

  • Executes tactical plans to meet and exceed growth sales targets on a monthly basis
  • Maintains a healthy sales pipeline at all times by continually engaging new clients.
  • Conducts sales presentations and carry out meetings with clients.
  • Facilitates service trials if necessary.
  • Prepares and presents written proposals and price quotations, making sure that all products and services are given equal sales attention.
  • Closes deals at appropriate price levels and completes all accreditation requirements imposed by the clients before hand-over to the Account Management Team.
  • Actively participate in all internal trainings, new product briefing and testing if and when needed, and communicate feedback to relevant internal stakeholders.
  • Maintains high standards in terms of personal sales discipline, work ethic and professionalism.
  • Ensures documentations and record keeping of sales activities is updated on a timely manner.

 

Job Requirement:

 

  • Must have at least 5 years’ experience in sales, preferably in a B2B environment or niche service industry; a positive and determined approach to researching and analysing new business opportunities.
  • Corporate and / or Government sales experience and knowledge of the market, current media issues, competitor behaviour and strategy. Exposure to the Communications, PR, Advertising or Marketing is deemed desirable.
  • Added advantage for sales experience in SaaS (Software as a Service), Digital or Social and proven experience in acquiring and selling to new customers
  • Proven capability in hands-on problem solving, with the ability to generate ideas and solutions; self-motivated and results driven; a genuine interest in mass information and current events.
  • Excellent organizational and time management skills and ability to work under pressure.
  • Excellent written and oral communication skills in Thai and English. Whilst not compulsory, ability to speak in any other vernacular language will be an added advantage
