Cluster General Manager

    Summary of Professional Role & Responsibilities:

    • Ensure all critical paths of pre-opening activities are accomplished timely, and the hotel opening is successfully operated.
    • Ensure Pre-opening budget is managed effectively.
    • Deliver hotel budget goals and set other short and long term strategic goals for the hotel.
    • Achieve short and long-term commercial results of the hotel, manage on-going profitability of the hotel, ensure revenue and guest satisfaction targets are met and
    • Establish clear accountabilities for profit and growth, including active contributions in cost control management with all teams.
    • Ensures all department milestones or goals are met and adhering to approved budgets.
    • Lead, develop and inspire all Department Heads to perform at optimum level.
    • Establish a strong work culture with all teams and build teamwork to work as one well-functioning team. 
    • Ensure that the assets are maintained properly at all time and
    • Implement effective preventative maintenance program and initiate appropriate capital expenditure projects in a timely manner.
    • Hold and conduct regular briefings and essential meetings with all Department Heads.
    • Oversee overall achievement level in all operations of the hotel.
    • Implement and develop goals, objectives, policies, procedures and work standards.

    Key Qualifications:

    • Bachelor’s degree or higher in any field, age over 40 years old.
    • A 5 years experience in GM position or equivalent level in hospitality.
    • Sales & Marketing background is a plus.
    • Experience in pre-opening hotel would be an advantage.
    • Experience in leading and managing all elements of a hotel operation for 4 Stars Hotel or above.
    • Excellent business acumen, financial planning, revenue and expense management, strategic planning.
    • Strong people management skill with dynamic organization changed and overall leadership capability.
    • Ability to drive strategies and initiatives with successfully influencing leader to accomplish their parts and strong in performance management
    • Creative thinking and effective delivering ideas.
    • Good interpersonal skills, conflict resolution, and effective communication.
