Import Replenishment Planner
      Responsible for coordinating confirmed Finished Goods orders from exporting BU’s to Thailand, from orders placement, delivery tracking, customs releasing and delivery to distribution DC on time and in full       The Import Replenishment Planner needs close with various internal and external stakeholders namely: Supply planners/Supply Hub Leads, Demand Planning team, PCM, Sales and Marketing, Commercialization Lead, OTC team and freight forwarders and brokers.    

Some of the key accountabilities for this role will include (but are not limited to)


Imports Management
  • Collaborate with Product Supply, Source Plants, Demand, Sales and Marketing team to achieve service level of Primary Sales of Imported Finished Goods (Biscuits and Cheese Category)
  • Activation of short term supply plan to manage fulfillment into importing countries and country DC network
  • Monitor incoming goods Freshness policy and highlight to Commercial team if there are risks on not meeting the agreed product freshness
  • Manage quantity change requests and stock issues with product supply/source plants and via customer contact to make alternative arrangements which best meet customer needs
  • Ensures source plants service levels are in line with TH BU requirements through agreed SLA (Service Level Agreement) metrics
  • Identify improvement opportunities to minimize/reduce lead times on ordering/replenishment with Source Plants and Product Supply team
Product Change Management and Innovation Support
  • Manage Phase In/Phase out planning during product change with project team by communicating to supply planning/source plant on transition timings; manage order placement
  • Ensure 1st shipment to be delivered on time to support NPD launch in the market
  • Ensure end to end replenishment lead times, frozen schedule and freshness policies are aligned between source plants and TH BU
  • Co-ordinate with Regulatory and Quality team to ensure Goods can be complied with Thai FDA and Food Certificate
  • Co-ordinate with MDLZ project team and logistics provider to get sample shipment (eg. NPD, Marketing activity and Premium) within timeline
Manage the Import Operational Processes
  • Key contact for coordination with shipping agents to ensure on time customs clearance operations and deliver the goods on time at customer DC (DKSH)
  • On-time/correct documents for submission to shipping agent/forwarder 
  • Ensure smooth unloading and receiving operations at customer DC by considering warehouse capacity planning and receiving coordination with Freight forwarder and DC customer
  • Collaborating, controlling and managing Shipping Agent/Forwarder performance to achieve service level agreement 
  • Allocate order quantity to synchronise with priority SKUs list and delivery schedule by weekly to prevent any additional cost.
  • Create PO in SAP for out CAP supplier. On the other hand, coordinate to Accenture team to create SO for in CAP supplier by monthly
Waste Minimization
  • Monitor shipment lead times and minimize demurrage costs/detention charges
  • Responsible for potential company savings by assessing which Imports can be applied to tax privileges
  • Monitor imports damages, and communicate with source plants for claims/disposition. Collaborate with Quality and Product supply team on improvement initiatives to minimize product damage 

Do you have what it takes?


  • Obtain at least a Bachelor Degree in Science, Logistics or other related faculty.
  • Computer literate with experience in SAP R/3, Microsoft Excel, Word and Power Point.
  • Good in English communication.
  • Knowledge in Logistics, Import or Export functions, preferable in confectionery products and/or consumer products.
  • Knowledge in Material or Production Planning, preferable in confectionery products and/or consumer products.

  • Time management/prioritization skills, high attention to detail
  • Analytical approach to problem solving
  • Have at least 3 years experience in Logistics, Import or Export functions, preferable in confectionery products and/or consumer products.
  • Have at least 1 year experience in Material or Production Planning, preferable in confectionery products and/or consumer products.
