Direct Sales Representative, (Lubricants)

Position:                      Direct Sales Representative, (Lubricants)

Location:                     Northeast of Thailand and Laos

Contract Term             Permanent



  • Provides support to commercial and industrial marketers/accounts in their sales efforts; counsels them on many facets of their business including credit, collections, equipment utilization, sales programs, etc. Sells the full line of preferred C&I lubricants products to established & new accounts in a designed area. Administers sales programs calling upon credit, plants, Lubricants Marketing, Product Life Cycle Management and finance personnel when appropriate. Maintains competitive pricing vigilance and keeps management apprised. Provides a positive impact beyond the local territory into the Area and Region.
  • Expert knowledge of the sales process and mPower. Consistently, highest value contributor, ability to “high grade” portfolio of products, to maximize sale of premium products to customers. Coaches and mentors sales representatives of marketer in the effective execution of the sales and RbL process as value based selling and focus on total cost of ownership. Works closely with Competency specialist to improve skills.
  • Drive marketer to achieve other KPI milestone such as forecast accuracy, old and slow, 1st source certification and meet periodic target in term of sales in and grow sales out to reach the optimal level of stock on hand to ensure marketer’s liquidity
  • Aggressively seeks out information concerning potential markets to increase sales and profits, appraises available and potential business in assigned area seeking out those target accounts and/or target areas which would best fulfill both short and long-range growth objectives for the area. Appraises the desirability of potential Marketers based on Financial Strength, Management Capability, Passion For Growth, Value Added Selling.
  • Detailed knowledge of financial principles. Performs rate of return, cash flow analysis. Strategic planning and strategic thinking skills. Coordinates development of long and short range plans covering all aspects of the assigned territory in alignment with Area/Region plans.


Required Qualifications:

  • At least Bachelor's Degree in Mechanical, Industrial Engineering, Business Administration and other related fields
  • Minimum 5 years working experiences in Sales
  • Excellent planning, analytical thinking and problem solving skills
  • Comprehensive account analysis skills
  • Achievement and result-driven focus in particular the profits contribution
  • Good interpersonal skills
  • Good communication, negotiation and presentation skills with proven competencies in speaking and writing in English in the business environment.  TOEIC score 700 and above is a plus.
  • Ability to work independently and proactively.
  • Ability to anticipate and fulfill customer strategic needs. 
  • Ability to resolve complex customer concerns of large/ national accounts
  • Ability to work and travel in upcountries frequently
  • Possess the driving license
