Business Development / Product Development (Assistant Manager Level)

Duties and Responsibilities: 

  • Coordinate with business channels to expand all SEG products (3BUs) to achieve their business goals
  • Coordinate with internal divisions to deliver outcome on timeline
  • Identify business opportunities with profitability to achieve target for all business channels 

Retail Business: 

  • Drive new business partnerships for Retail (Agency, Telesales, S-Team, BRM) Channel and create growth revenue through selected business partners for all 3 Bus)
  • Develop initiative projects to find business opportunities or new prospects
  • Customize product/ process/ service to support Retail Channel 
  • TCC & Key Account Development: 

  • Drive new business partnerships for Key Account Channel and create growth revenue through selected business
  • partners for all 3 Bus
  • Develop initiative projects to find business opportunities or new prospects
  • Customize product/ process/ service to support Key Account Channel 
  • Bancassurance & Broker Development: 

  • Co-develop business plan for Bancassurance, Broker, and Alternative Channel
  • Co-develop business initiative and operating model for Bancassurance, Broker, and Alternative Channel 
  • Financial Development: 

  • Initiate supply chain financing product and process
  • Co-develop product implementation plan with sales team for product operations
  • Manage profitability of supply chain product to achieve target 
  • Corporate Business Development: 

  • Identify business opportunities and deliver potential business models to SEG executives                                            
  • Co-develop business plan and model with related departments to deliver short term and long term strategy and plan for SEG and partners         
  • Co-develop with dedicated teams, focusing on specific transactions, system, and process which involves two stages:
    • Origination: assessing a deal's desirability, which is sometimes an innovative idea from the company rather than the partners. Financial models are used to simulate possible outcomes. This requires a deep understanding of market.                                                                                
    • Execution: structuring and negotiating the detailed terms of a deal, often in liaison with other professionals such as lawyers and accountants.

    Qualification

    • 5 years of solid experience in Strategic Business Development, product development, investment banking or other relevant fields in the Insurance or financial services
    • Strong and proven business development and product management and experience in mid-size to large multi-national companies.
    • Profound relationship management experience with strong emphasis on strategic partnership and marketing strategies.
    • Very good English communication
    • Demonstrated commercial acumen and strong understanding of business requirements
    • Excellent analytical skills, Communication Skill, Negotiation, Project Management
