Planner (Bangna-Trad km.36)

Job Description 

  • Demand Planning
    • Collaborates with cross-functional stakeholders to deliver an accurate, robust and timely 18-months rolling sales forecast taking into consideration new launches, product promotions, marketing, sales and phase-in/out plans
    • Ensures the demand planning software tool is correctly configured, updated, maintained, accurate and available for use by key users and top management for decision making
    • Prepares the consensual demand plan in accordance with the CH Asia DP calendar and activities
    • Drives the Demand Review and Financial Gap-Fill review
    • Ensures that significant within-the-month forecast changes are communicated
    • Conducts Root Cause Analysis for forecast failure and identify corrective actions
    • Implements Best Practises as part of continuous improvement
  • Supply Planning
    • Produces robust business replenishment finished goods supply plans to support sales forecasts which satisfy customer service objectives whilst minimising inventory carrying costs

    ·         Optimises stock holding levels within the total supply chain through a detailed understanding of the key planning parameters and end-to-end process (lead times, MOQ/EOQ, supply reliability, demand variability, service objectives etc.) and in line with Working Capital targets.

    • Responsible for materials planning aligning with finished goods supply plan, procuring, delivery confirmation to support local toll manufacturers by optimizing inventory level, cost and agreed lead time to achieve company objectives.
    • Monitor and control proper inventory level, service level, performance of toll manufacturers and other major KPIs of Consumer Health supply management.
    • Ensures the replenishment planning tool is maintained regularly as to plan accurately and available for use and reliable.
    • Responsible for the transmittal of finished goods purchase order, finished goods order forecast, and material arrival plan to toll manufacturers on monthly basis as per agreed timeline.
    • Conduct monthly supply review with key manufacturing sites; work closely with them and regulatory function to ensure timely shipment and delivery of finished goods supplies for sales and exceeds customer service level target.
    • Support supply plan data injection during Gap-Fill review for financial planning.
  • Inventory Management
    • Set the market’s planning parameters based on inventory management tools.
    • Non-working inventory management in collaboration with Commercial to minimize write off cost.
    • Determine inventory strategies to drive down inventories.
  • Sales & Operations Planning (S&OP)
    • Drives the local Sales & Operations Planning (S&OP) process by working across internal and external functional areas to assure that demand, supply and financial plans are aligned and that proper communication regarding significant current/potential supply performance problems are communicated to the appropriate stakeholders in a timely manner for mitigation consensus.
  • New Product Introduction (NPI)
    • Ensures new products are in the supply plan with the appropriate lead-time
    • Liaises with Marketing, Regulatory and other stakeholders to ensure all requirements are coordinated for pack introductions/changes.
    • Works with the production suppliers or customer service to ensure that the optimal acceptable MOQ, shipment mode, lead time, correct unit costs are in place.
    • Manages stock level for new products launch and discontinuations, phase ins/phase outs, and ensure to minimize write off cost and supply continuity during changes.
    • Conducts post-mortem for every NPI and documents lessons learned to avoid recurrences
  • Warehousing & Distribution (W&D) Logistics Provider Management
    • Liaises with the providers with regards to annual stock take, cycle count and disposal of write off stocks
    • Monthly basis work with distributor, toll manufacturers, commercial and finance on short expire goods, disposal goods decision, provision, and write off.

     

    Qualifications

    • Thai Nationality, Male or Female with age 27​ years and above.
    • Bachelor's Degree or higher in Business Administration, Supply Chain Management, Engineering or related field.
    • Working experience  3 years in logistics and supply chain with pharmaceutical company.
    • Strong ability to persuade and influence people outside area of responsibility and maximize area of influence.
    • Exceptional project and change management skills on multiple simultaneous complex projects.
    • Think strategically, not just the limited scope of one aspect of a project.
    • Strong leadership, people management and analytical/problem-solving skills.
    • Good command in written and spoken English / Computer literacy.
