Engineering Manager

Responsibilities:
  • Working closely with Senior Management and R&D to define project feasibility and ensure all NPD is smoothly transitioned into mass production.
  • Managing and supervising process improvements within the plant operations to increase all productivity, reduce lead time and reduce waste.
  • Ensuring all facilities and both PM and AM maintenance are performed correctly and to the right standards to increase the plant OEE.
  • Taking part in defining the budget for CAPEX projects and monitoring all costs within the Engineering department.
  • Creating update and clear progress reports relating to all Engineering projects, and ensuring related discussions this within relevant management meetings.
  • Working cross functionally with Senior Management and other teams to define outcomes and goals of projects, providing strong ideas and initiatives.
Qualifications:
  • Educated to a Bachelors degree level in Engineering or a related field. 
  • Must have previous experience working within engineering management, this can be from medical devices, FMCG or a food and beverage factory.
  • Strong management capability and strategic thinking skills.
  • Ability to lead a team and provide clear coaching and guidance. 
  • Ability to communicate in both written and spoken English. 
  • Must have good time management skills in order to work under pressure and with multiple project deadlines at the same time.
