SUPPLY CHAIN MANAGER – PLASTICS INDUSTRY / PACKAGING

Responsibilities:
  • Controlling the development and continuous improvement of material and information flow processes, ensuring the efficient utilization of available supply chain resources, optimizing Thailand inventory, and taking a leadership role in Supply Chain Program Management activities.
  • Driving the implementation of regional supply chain strategy and processes based on product priority, lead times, and safety stock levels.
  • Managing the end-to-end supply chain processes by integrating various relevant supply chain functions in order to efficiently and effectively manage resources, the flow of materials and supply chain related information in alignment with business strategies and objectives.
  • Driving the growth of the business and customer satisfaction through the development of sales and operations planning processes across various related functions such as Procurement, Production, Inventory Control, Logistics and Distribution.
  • Developing supply chain excellence programs in order to secure the supply and optimise cost efficiency with best practice processes.
  • Leading and providing solutions to complex problems and issues.
  • Ensuring the control and storage of inventory in line with Lean principles.
  • Utilizing concepts associated with continuous improvements and cost reductions in the execution of the job functions.
Qualifications: 
  • Bachelor’s degree or higher in Supply Chain Management, Logistics, Business Administration, or a related field.
  • At least 8 years of supply chain management experience with managerial capacity, especially with experience in the manufacturing industry-manufacturing capacity-high volume, high mix environment preferred.
  • Strong working knowledge of planning, input/output control, product structures, bills of materials, routings, demand management, stockroom, MRP.
  • Experience in managing manufacturing processes, productivity, and efficiency measurements and improvement projects.
  • Having a pleasant personality and appearance and the ability to communicate well with people at all levels, and possess proven problem-solving skills.
  • A team player with the ability to work effectively in all environments.
  • Good command of both written and spoken English with good computer proficiency.
