1.Assist the Department Manager/F&B Manager in being responsible for the Restaurants area, ensuring a smooth running, profitable operation within the framework of the Hotel.
2.Assist in the maintaining of our staff welfares by providing them with the training and resources to take care of our guests.
3.Achieve departmental budget goals by maintaining profits through increased sales revenue and the efficient cost expenditure.
4.To work with the Department Manager/F&B Manager to be responsible for the monthly department Profit & Loss Statement (P&L).
5.Assist in the preparation of the yearly department Budget by using history & forecasting techniques to develop an aggressive budget that reflects the restaurant capabilities.
6.Accurately forecast business demands on a weekly basis to ensure efficient staffing &food production.
7.To ensure the efficient scheduling of management and associates.
8.To assist in the accurate supervision of the associate time control and payroll systems by working with HR Department.
9.To ensure the completion of the wage progress report on a weekly basis and critique discrepancies.
10.To assist in all accounting and billing procedures in the outlets.
11.To ensure the awareness and enforcement of all SOP’s and Property LSOP’s, if any.
12.To enforce operational Standards that are periodically reviewed to update and improve.
13.To be aware of all Guest Incentive programs and the correct accounting procedures pertaining to them.
14.To assist in the development and execution of plans and actions for the improvement and marketing of the outlet.
15.To be aware of competitors in the market and assist in the completion of a competition analysis on a quarterly basis.
16.To assist in the development and implementation of range and file staff and supervisor training plans on a quarterly basis in conjunction with HR department.
17.To execute a departmental daily training program during daily briefing.
18.To assist in the execution of all staff reviews and appraisals in a professional and timely manner.
19.To assist in all aspects of staff management including hiring and discipline in conjunction with the Department Manager/F&B Manager.
20.To train subordinate supervisors in effective “coaching and counseling” and the correct process of progressive discipline.
21.To participate in holding an effective monthly department meeting with minutes and forwarded to the Department Manager/F&B Manager and HR department.
22.Periodically plan outside staff activity to promote teamwork.
23.To maintain outlet safety and sanitation standards at all times.
24.To be responsible for asset management of all outlet property and facilities.
25.To assist in the preventative maintenance inspection on a monthly basis.
26.Promote positive inter-departmental relations through candid communication and cooperation.
27.To respond to guest inquiries or concerns within 24 hours in what is deemed the appropriate manner.
28.Enforce hospitality at all times.
29.Perform any reasonable request made of management which is not life threatening or against the law.
