Assistant Sales Manager (Retail shop) - IKEA Bangna/ผู้จัดการร้าน (ธุรกิจเฟอร์นิเจอร์ และ ของตกแต่งบ้าน) - บางนา

Location:  IKEA Bangna


Shopkeeper, one of the most dynamic and rewarding positions in IKEA store. Your challenge will be to optimise sales and profitability within a shop and store by leading and inspiring your team and combining your knowledge of the IKEA product range with your knowledge of the local market and the needs of customers.

YOUR ASSIGNMENT Your tasks will include:

  • To achieve the sales budget and gross margin goals for the sales section and manage sales forecasts
  • To manage your staffs' working schedule and all operating costs related to your department
  • To achieve the customer satisfaction goals for your area
  • To make sure that the store is in shape as new, has a strong commercial basic level and each area you are responsible for is properly staffed with trained and qualified co-workers during all opening hours

YOUR PROFILE Your knowledge, skills and experience include:

  • At Least 3-5 years sales experience in a supervisory level, have proven record as a problem-solver and a decision-maker who excels in a fast-paced retail environment.
  • Experienced in managing team of 3-5 staffs (especially part-time co-workers) for sales activities & staffs' working hours schedule (shift)
  • Interest in home furnishings and able to provide solutions to IKEA business customers.
  • High ability in handling with pressure, able to work independently as well as a member of the larger team in order to be efficient.
  • Possess strong enthusiasm, good communication skills, tactical abilities, self-reliant and self-motivated.
  • Quick develop in-depth knowledge of local market business conditions and competitive environment.
  • Good at prioritising and organising both internal and external tasks, using commercial priorities in order to make the most efficient use of time available.
  • Act as a role model for the team staff, possess coaching and training skills
  • Able to write and execute a business/action plan, follow up the goals set and communicate within IKEA and outside of IKEA, in the business world, representing the company values.
  • Flexible to work on Saturday or Sunday or public holidays, (by work roster- 5 working days, 2 day-off).
