Farm Assiatant

Our main research station in Southeast Asia -  Hortigenetics Research (S.E.Asia) Limited is seeking candidates for:

FARM ASSISTANT

OVERALL PURPOSE OF THE JOB:

The farm assistant is responsible for assisting farm manager on farm operation and providing support to breeding program in the following result areas.

KEY RESPONSIBILITY AREAS:

  • Set and manage crop plan and farm activities
  • Assist direct supervisor with all aspects of farm management both field and greenhouse operations
  • Assist direct supervisor with data collections and maintain quality of trial database
  • Submit reports to supervisor for review and discussion as required.
  • Monitor and supervise worker performance and overtime work including worker attendance & absence.
  • Perform other related duties such as special assignments and annual major objectives as assigned and required by the supervisor

QUALIFICATION:

  • B.Sc. in Agriculture, Horticulture or related field
  • Physically capable of handling the required field and screenhouse.
  • Fair command of English
  • Good interpersonal skills, ability to work effectively with team
  • Able to lead group of worker
  • Planning, analytical thinking and result driven
  • Work located in Suphanburi
