British Council Thailand is looking for Operations Manager to join their Examinations team in their Bangkok office.
ABOUT THE DEPARTMENT/TEAM
Globally and in East Asia, we have embarked on an exciting transformation initiative to ensure we serve our customers and stakeholders more effectively and set the foundation for long term growth. Exams Transformation is the umbrella term for this initiative within the Exams business unit to help us meet our 2020 vision of greater standardisation and leveraging on technology. This in turn will provide greater career growth and development opportunities for those involved in the exams function.
WHAT YOU WILL BE DOING AND WHY
In this role, you will ensure exams operations are optimally executed to support achievement of business targets, quality and compliance standards of British Council as well as exam boards and customer service excellence.
You are to plan and execute exam operations within the country in collaboration with Regional leadership. You will be expected to lead the implementation on a board range of improvement projects working closely with cluster and global counterparts.

WHAT WE ARE LOOKING FOR
To be shortlisted, you will have bachelor’s degree with 3 years of managing a team experience and are able to communicate well in both spoken and written English and Thai. You will have project management experience with the ability to come up with project plans to implement improvement initiatives. You will have the experience of maintaining business standards while integrating new ways of working as well as operations management experience.
