Supplier Scheduler

POSITION SUMMARY

Materials planning for overseas components, firm & forecast order release and control, ERP program coordinating & operation, production planning, Optimized inventory level maintenance, PFEP analysis, materials flow improvement activity(internal flow), transportation company management, inventory counting analysis and report-out

  

KEY PERFORMANCE

  • Planning and order release for overseas parts
  • Supplier scheduling and efficient communication
  • Production planning for mass-production and service
  • On-time Delivery from the suppliers
  • ERP system coordination
  • Inventory level control.
  • Transportation Control .

 

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS

  •  Implementation efficient materials management for overseas parts
  • Delivery control of overseas suppliers
  • ERP for material planning function
  • Production planning and management
  • Idea generation for internal materials flow improvement (Floor and Warehouse)
  • Coordination of change management item
  • Supporting pilot production and starting on-going operation within due date 
  • Maintenance of target Inventory level for overseas parts
  • Inventory audit analysis and report-out
  • Transportation company control
  • Packaging review for overseas parts
  • Evaluation of delivery performance for overseas suppliers
  • Claim to overseas suppliers
  • Comply with safety rules and procedures
  • Responsible for his/her safety and attending safety trainings

  

JOB REQUIREMENTS

 EDUCATIONS

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business, Purchasing or a comparable field from a four-year College or University is required
  • CPIM preferred

 

KNOWLEDGE/EXPERIENCE

  • 5-8 year experiences in Purchasing & Scheduling with suppliers, ERP program and material control related field
  • Substantial experience in operations management, materials management, and/or inventory systems management

 

COMMUNICATION/COMPUTER SKILL

  • Verbal and written communication skills for both internal and external customers
  • Fluent in written and spoken in English
  • Proficient in MS Word, Excel, Outlook, Lotus Notes and PowerPoint
