Manager, Operations (Bangkok,Thailand)

The Operations Manager is responsible for setting and delivery of strategy, implementation and overall Service Operations for the Thailand's market.

A little insight of your responsibilities:-

  • Defining operations strategy at a Country level in-line with Regional strategies.
  • Establish and lead best practices sharing discussions with international Operations teams to build relationships and provide cross-pollination of ideas.
  • Effectively lead and develop the Operations team for Uninterrupted Operations within Claim operations and call center ensuring delivery of KPI’s achieved.
  • Ensures relationships between Service Managers & 3rd party network are met & customer expectations are met and Identify new service providers to support strategic priorities based on agreed requirements.
  • Understands client requirements and objectives; translates client requirements into operational requirements to functional group. Clearly communicates vision and requirements to functional group.
  • Accountable for the delivery of multiple client projects that require coordination and orchestration across multiple internal stakeholders and delivery teams.
  • Recognizes operational risk factors early on and mitigates or creates contingency plans. Report out to executive team and/or client teams on results, risks, and opportunities identified.
  • Serves as a single point of contact for overall project issues.


To be successful in this position, you should have:-

  • At least a Bachelor's Degree.
  • 6 years minimum experience in General Insurance Claim Processing Industry/Telco/Retail/Transportation/Logistics.
  • Experience in responding to RFPs, new launches, call center operations, logistic center operations, and/or risk management initiatives.
  • Experience from mobile and consumer electronics service sector will be added advantages.
  • Experience in motivating and developing a team.
  • Strong analytical skills, attention to detail and creative problem solver.
  • Must be well organized with proven track record of meeting deadlines and executing on deliverables.
  • Strong collaboration and cross functional partnership skills; ability to influence internal colleagues from all business functions.
  • Self-starter with strong desire to identify and lead opportunities that drive significant business impact.
  • Ability to appropriately prioritize and drive initiatives while operating in a highly matrixed environment.


Nature of work:-

  • Work location: Sethiwan Tower, Bangkok.
  • Start-up in Thailand Market.
  • Salary range: 65,000 baht - 90,000 baht per month.
  • Fast pace working environment.
  • Able to start ASAP.
