Employee Relation Manager

Responsibilities:

  • Designs, plans, and implements a company's employee relations programs, policies, and procedures.  Ensuring that all employees follow those policies. In addition to policies relating to sexual harassment, drug or alcohol use, the way employees act on social networking sites and how they act around clients.
  • Work closely together with C&B Manager when creating benefits packages. Benefits packages refer to all benefits awarded to employees, including vacation time, sick leave, maternity leave, health insurance and any incentives.
  • Responsible for communicating the policies changing of benefits, welfare and etc. with employees for what they require, compare pricing from different insurers and decide if all employees should receive the same package.
  • Perform as a representative for the union or employee committee or meeting with one of those reps. on behalf of the employer. Ensure and follow all the standards it put in place and that workers did not violate any laws.
  • Provide guideline and consultant in related to the issues of employee relations, rules and regulations, legislative requirement on the issue of employment conditions and other concerns.
  • Specialization focus more on the employees than on the company as a whole.
  • To ensure complying with all laws, negotiating contracts, consulting on all new policies and working with the union or employee committee.
  • Maintains good communication and positive relationships with employees to promote employee satisfaction. Being a Manager and manage employee engagement of the employees throughout the performance management and goal setting process.
  • Identifies and analyzes issues with employee relations infractions. Additionally provides recommendations for resolutions.
  • Provides counseling to the line managers and disciplinary committee on labor regulations and company’s rules & regulations.
  • Lead or consult with human resources business partners and legal on complex employee investigations and building level employee relations issues.
  • Provides, develop and execute country-specific culture and work environment programmer including health and welfare design and application employee services activities in areas of transportation, canteen and so on.
  • Ensure appropriate action and project implementation on any employee relations related matter. Design and manage communication program to create a good understanding both inside and outside the company.
  • Engage, involving and coping with the company’s HSE expectation.

 

Skills / Requirement

  • Thai, male age between 38-48 years old.
  • Bachelor’s Degree or Higher in Human Resources Management, Law, Political Sciences or any other related fields.
  • Minimum 5 – 10 years in Human Resources preferably in Employee Relation and Employee Communication function within multinational manufacturing environment, automotive industry is preferred.
  • Experience in handling Labor Union would be an advantage including experiences working in employee relation area with a large size of manufacturing organization is preferred.
  • Possesses at least 4-5 years experiences in management level.
  • Excellent communication skills both written and verbal in English and Thai.
  • Proficient with Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint.
  • Excellent communication, presentation and interpersonal skills.
  • Good personality, creative, positive and willing to handle any situation with open minded. A self-motivated team player with strong leadership, problem solving with an ability to work independently and in a self – directed manner with minimal guidance.

 

Working Location:       Rayong Plant, Eastern Seaboard Industrial Estate
