Project Sales Engineer (Smart Technology)

Objective :

The project sales engineer is trained professional for a specific product range. Analyse the client’s requirements, qualify the lead and then create a solution proposal together with the whole smart technology division team. The offered solution is a complete project bid with implementation schedule. Remain the key account contact for the customer to answer any project related matters and keep track of the progress until the final acceptance tests are completed.

Job Responsibilities :

  • Support national sales team and partners in terms of technical & application knowledge.
  • Compile all project information and prepare solution presentations to customers.
  • Create project user specification documents, qualify projects and develop complete solution proposal and project mile stone plan together with the Smart Division Team, Manage the bidding process to win the order.
  • Handover won projects to the implementation team to process according the mile stone plan. Track purchase order processes and implementation process against the timelines. Remain the key contact for the customer until the project is completed.
  • Initiate and implement new product launches together with product manager including training and coaching sales teams and partners.
  • Monitor market trends, market movements, competitors and pricing.
  • Contacting clients to inform them about new developments in products.

Qualifications :

  • Bachelor's Degree or higher in Engineering, Business Engineering, Industrial Engineering or any related fields.
  • 2-4 years experience in Sales Engineer and Project Engineer (If experience in B2B Business will be advantage).
  • Knowledge in electronic products for building automation sector, control systems for access control and security solutions or the other related system will be advantage.
  • Ability to learn new products and technologies.
  • Ability to solve problems, prioritize tasks and manage multiple and complex projects under deadline and budget pressure.
  • Must be able to work a flexible schedule including day and/or evening hours.
  • Strong personality and excellent communication skills in persuading and collaborating with diverse, multi-functional teams.
  • Willing to travel when required by business.
  • Good communication in English.
  • Computer proficiency in MS office (Excel , Word , PPT)
  • Own car with driving license.
