  • Key objectives: To set up the commercial manufacturing plant, and stabilize the production, we are looking for someone who will be a core-member of the company.

Location: Eastern Seaboard Industrial Estate (Rayong) Thailand

(The official address will be announced, after construction is completed.)

Number of position: 1

Start period: About December, 2019

Possibility of Transfer: We would prefer someone to work at our plant in Thailand, however there is a possibility to work or train at our headquarters.

Age: Under 60 years old

Job experience: More than 5 years experience of Human Resources or General Affairs at the manufacturing plant.

Academic qualifications: No degree is necessary

Language skills: 

  • Thai, English and/or Japanese

Details of Language skills:  Thai: Native Level, English or Japanese, either one is higher than business level. If someone who has experience studying aboard in Japan or working in Japan before would be preferable.

Licence: No license is necessary

  • Understanding the necessary law for labor management, and establish the regulations of our company.
  • Understanding and taking necessary action from recruiting employees to handling their retirement.
  • Understanding and cooperating with the laws for operating plants, and being able to prepare necessary
  • documents to submit to government offices.
  • Understanding laws and being able to take action for preparing and renewing internal regulations.
  • Experience educating and managing more than 3 members of the team.

Times of Interview: About 3 times

Salary: 50,000~120,000 baht/ month

Salary is decided by yourself (Self-assessment system, and there is no bonus.)

Promotions: Once per year

Incentive: None

Holiday: 2 days off per week 

Probation period: 3 months

Paid Leave: 12 days per year

Working hours: 8 hours per day, 40 hours per week

Social Insurance: Employment insurance, Accident Insurance, Health Insurance, Retirement pension and any other basic social insurances.

Welfare: A canteen for employees (After the construction of the plant is completed.)

Others: There are possibilities to be trained, around 3 months to 6 months, after joining our headquarters in Japan.

   Spiber is a Japanese biotech startup that designs structural protein materials from the molecular level, and inexpensively mass produces those materials through a microbial fermentation process. Currently, the biotech industry is mainly centered around the production of enzymes, ethanol, food products, medicines, biofuels, and the like. Bioplastics such as PLA and PHA have also been developed, which resemble petroleum-derived polymers in the sense that they require polymerization by means of a chemical process. Spiber has developed a platform technology to create a new class of biomaterials based on proteins, which are tailor-made at the molecular level to suit users’ specific needs for characteristics such as strength, elasticity, biocompatibility and so on. The range of properties that proteins can express are far broader than those of petrochemical polymers and bioplastics, by simply changing the genes that provide the code for each target protein. Spiber’s industrial material platform is forging a path to a new sector of biomaterials for a plethora of applications, including lighter, higher performance automotive or aerospace parts, apparel, implantable medical devices, and more. Spiber learns the requirements of end application manufacturers through strategic partnerships, designs suitable proteins from the molecular level, produces them through fermentation, then processes them into various forms such as fibers, resins, films, gels, sponges, and more, as needed for the end application.
