Head of HR, South East Asia (SEA) North

Siegwerk Thailand is looking for a senior talented individual to join our regional HR team based in Samutsakorn!

As a Business Partner for SEA North (Malaysia, Singapore, Thailand, and Vietnam), your role is to develop, implement, and manage optimal, cost effective HR strategies and programs in the region in line with business objectives, corporate guidelines, and statutory regulations as well as to ensure all countries are at the defined HR professional standard level and lead the daily operations with the country HR team to ensure legal compliance and operational excellence in SEA North. 

Candidates with over 5 years of working experience as an HR Business Partner in multinational companies and strong business acumen and leadership are invited to apply!

Main accountabilities:

  • Implementation and coordination of global and regional HR systems, policies and guidelines in line with local needs.
  • Talent sourcing and people development to meet current and future regional business needs in line with corporate standards
  • Facilitation of regular SEA North people review and actions completion
  • Leadership attention on HR-related business issues, i.e. performance management, retention, employee engagement, etc. through adequate HR controlling / KPIs.
  • Promotion of effective working relationships and a best-in-class working environment
  • Delivery and maintenance of effective HR administration processes in compliance with local legal requirements
  • Smooth sourcing, transfer and integration of international assignees and compliance with local regulations (expat payroll, work permits etc.).
  • HRIS local going live of the remaining modules as well as smooth running of all modules
  • Local HR policy and objectives defining and monitoring, in line with corporate guidelines and in consideration of specific country issues.
  • The role as sparring partner for the SEA North management in all HR issues. Participating in SEA North management team and in Asia HR network
  • Legally compliant and healthy Local industrial relations management
  • Local budget planning and controlling in agreement with superior and Asia HR.
  • Regional or global projects if required.


  • University degree
  • Min. 5-8 year experience in HR management with organizational impact
  • Experience with a MNC in the B2B / manufacturing environment
  • Good business acumen
  • Change management capability and willingness
  • Familiar with the SEA country local HR practices and major labor laws/regulations
  • Result driven and sense of urgency
  • Team player and a people manager
  • Willingness to travel
  • Fluent in English
