About the role

Responsible for managing day-to-day transport operations from receiving orders from customer, manage the route planner, assign trucks, and monitor from pick up to delivery, as well as updating report, and manage customer KPIs as committed on each business units; while complies with CEVA Policies and Procedures, and relevant authority regulations.

Key responsibilities

• Manage daily ground operations activities, including receiving and evaluating customer demand on daily/weekly/monthly, manage truck capacity, assign fleets, and track the status from pick up to delivery to meet or exceed customer requirement

• Coordinates with driver & subcontractor for daily operation and resolve transport issues including finding the root causes and initiate problem solving for seamless transportation process

• Execute on transport operation and documentation under the responsible areas including KPI, health and safety, and customer service

• Apply TMS or Route optimization system as applicable to perform the daily operation and monitoring process

• Provide daily and weekly report and tracking transportation cost to ensure all data and documents are accurate with timely submission

• Capacity and Resource planning with subcontractor to perform the daily / weekly operations without business interruption

• Manages vendor relationship with subcontractors, including review of KPI's and catering for an effective subcontractor procurement process

• Implements and drives continuous improvement and cost saving opportunities in all managed contracts and participates in the development of short term and long term contract objectives

About you

• Vocational diploma or bachelor's degree in engineering, Logistics Management or other related field of study

• Working experience in transportation management

• Solid understanding and knowledge of transportation management

• Solid understanding of route planning / scheduling and truck assignment

• Planning, organizing, and delegation skills

• Proficient in MS Office applications with basic of MS Excel

• Able to prioritize work assignments

• Basic knowledge in English Communication on both writing and reading as well as be able to have conversation in English

• Able to use e-mail and able to communicate with customers per e-mail effectively

• Excellent verbal and written communication skills
